Zinfandel 1988

What a beautiful welcoming gift by Dario Sattui, owner of V Sattui winery and Castello di Amorosa: a Zinfandel from our birth year! Definitely our first experience with the grape from such an old vintage: the wine was still healthy, a little bit of fruit was present but acidity and tannin were very very low.

Fun to taste though, thanks for the present Dario!
