With both feet on Barbera’s terroir
A famous winemaker once stated “There are three things that matter in wine: terroir, terroir, terroir.’
We all know how obsessed Piemonte producers are with expressing location through their wines: over centuries, 181 cru or “single vineyards” have been identified in the Barolo area alone, each with its own identity, character and price tag.
Not too far away from Barolo and after many years of research and experimentation, the Coppo family is taking a step further towards the mission of maximizing the expressiveness of the Barbera variety. Their historical underground wine cellars are a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the Monferrato region where the family has been farming and making wine since 1892.
We designed tomorrow’s Flash Sale with our friend Luigi Coppo, including two exclusive wines that are not even on the market yet. Make sure you subscribe to our mailing list and check your inbox.
